RiverOaks Charleston

Without a doubt, this is truly one of the most beautiful properties in the South. Beyond the natural beauty, Riveroaks Charleston is more importantly a venue with a focus on relational and meaningful moments and a legacy that lasts. The owner and event planner Marianne has a truly special vision for each of the weddings she hosts, but is unique in the time and energy she spends cultivating relationships and lasting marriages! A sentiment I truly hope to mirror for my couples, so the time spent exploring these grounds were an endless stream of inspiration! The images below were captured at the Eric Kelley workshop this past April, and you can find Eric's stunning images here, as well as featured in a fashion editorial in The Knot Magazine!RiverOaksCharlestonRiverOaksCharleston11RiverOaksCharleston2RiverOaksCharleston9RiverOaksCharleston3RiverOaksCharleston10RiveroaksCharleston15RiveroaksCharleston16RiverOaksCharleston6RiverOaksCharleston5

Charleston

If this is what it looks like in the winter, I would love to come back in spring. The drive wasn't bad, the food was southern and amazing, and scenery absolutely inspiring. I returned home swamped with work, yet rejuvenated by the the beauty and charm of Charleston. This spring, I may not make it back to South Carolina, but I will explore several southern gardens and estates in Georgia. Nevertheless, I'll be in South Carolina again for a wedding in September, so I'm sure it won't be long before I make it back to this quaint and fascinating city.
