If I were to highlight a few similarities between the many incredible engagement sessions I've had this spring, I would say most of had cute dogs, great light, and amazing couples. This rustic beach engagement session is no exception. Kimberly and JT were so great to work with, and have the cutest little pup. I can't wait for their wedding at Cross Creek Ranch next February!
Cold Pressed Cocktails :: Editorial with the Oxford Exchange Market
I had the pleasure to once again join forces on an editorial with the creative and amazing team at the Oxford Exchange. Our first collaboration was a Tea Pairing/Tea Party, and this time we went over to the O.E. Market to create Cold-Pressed Cocktails, just in time for Summer! Jasmin + Steve :: Leu Gardens Engagement Session
My list of favorite garden venues in Florida can be counted on one hand, and Harry P. Leu Gardens definitely makes the list. Couple an amazing backdrop with a great couple and you have a recipe for a great engagement session. My goal is always to capture the true personality of a couple, which felt particularly easy because Jasmin and Steve are so laid back, fun, and bring such great energy. My only regret is that I'm not available to shoot their wedding, but I'm thankful I was given the opportunity to capture this wonderful session.
Tristan + Les :: Beach Engagement Session
Let me start by saying that these two could not have been easier to photograph. Their natural chemistry is evident in each image, and from the beginning, we were on the same page with ideas, location, and outfits. I was excited immediately following this session, but it turned out even better than I imagined. From their initial email, I knew Tristan and Les spend much of their free time at the beach, so I'm thrilled to have captured not only their love, but a glimpse of their favorite way to spend time together. If I didn't have enough goodness to photograph throughout this session, these two are going to have such a gorgeous wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate this coming November. Side note, I loved their shoot so much, that I returned to this same spot a week later on my day off to enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery. Also, I have to say thank you again to Tristan and Les for bringing me the most delicious macaroons from Datz Dough, and another set for my girlfriend. I'm so thankful for such amazing and thoughtful clients!

Today this amazing Peach Inspired Editorial is featured on Style Me Pretty's main page. There is no better medium than film to capture these bright and beautiful colors. So amazing to once again collaborate in Atlanta with the extremely talented Jade Lee Events. Thank you Megan, with Malindy Elene for the beautiful Augusta Jones gown, and Jade for the incredible coordination and floral design. I'm looking forward to working together again in April!

Christa + Matt :: St. Pete Engagement Session
I truly believe the moments captured in this engagement session would've happened without any direction at all. Christa and Matt are so laid back and natural together, and Matt is a seriously awesome musician... I almost wanted to stop shooting for awhile just to hear him play. They have both been so fun and awesome to work with so far, so I know there's no question that I'll love their wedding at one of my absolute favorite Tampa Venues, The Oxford Exchange. November can't come soon enough!
Beth and Dan :: Selby Gardens Wedding Photography
There isn't a day that I'm not eternally grateful to be a wedding photographer, but on Beth and Dan's wedding day I was particularly thankful. They were married at one of my absolute favorite venues, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, on one of the most gorgeous days. Everywhere I turned, there were beautiful moments in the most gorgeous light. Seriously though, how about Dan's reaction when he saw Beth for the first time? To avoid redundancy, I only posted a few of his reaction, but I honestly thought about posting ten. In truth, that is the case with their entire wedding. I'll take that problem any day of the week.

Jessica + Kevin :: Ranch Engagement Session
There's nothing I love like photographing on privately owned property; Add great light and an amazing couple and I'm a pretty happy camper. A bottle of Vintage Dom Perignon never hurts either. This session started with Jessica and Kevin giving me a tour of the property, while chatting about the plans for their wedding this October at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club. Needless to say, I cannot wait to photograph their special day. Below is a small snippet from our afternoon around Kevin's family property. I'm not sure if it was the light, location, or the couple (or a combination of all three), but I shot a ton of film!
Emily + Kyle - Bay Preserve at Osprey Wedding
From the moment I arrived, a variation of these phrases kept being repeated "This wedding is awesome - Emily is such an awesome bride - Emily and Kyle are just awesome". I loved everything about their wedding at the Bay Preserve at Osprey, and Nicole and her team with NK Weddings could not have done a better job. I'm excited to finish up their album today!
