Truly, this is what weddings are all about. I left this amazing day energetic, hopeful, and excited. If we met another way, I have a feeling I might've been a guest at this wedding rather than the photographer. However, I'm so thankful they chose me to capture their day, Savannah and Chris are such genuine and amazing people, and their family and friends were no different. Aside from myself, and the amazing wedding planner/event designer Laura Helm with Ashton Events, pretty much all the vendors were either family or close friends. With beautiful hymns played by three members of the wedding party and an amazing sermon, their ceremony was filled with beautiful emotions and personal touches. This may sound funny, but not only was this entire group hilarious and awesome, but they were so receptive and cooperative... Which goes a long way with a large wedding party in the August heat! I'm sad to be already putting the finishing touches on their storytelling album, but I have a good feeling we'll hang out again the next time I'm in NYC!
